There is a reason that iodine was added to table salt a few decades ago. And now that people are preferring to use Sea salt and kosher salt, we in the medical field are seeing more cases of hypothyroidism especially among women in their 30s and 40s. We don’t have a substitute for iodized table salt and I encourage people to switch back so they get enough iodine. Not everyone can eat enough fish to make up the difference.
