Hi there, Nancy! You could try dissolving the salt in the water, you might also try whisking the salt into the flour before you start mixing your dough to see if this helps it disperse better. If your recipe has an autolyse, you might try saving a small amount of the water and using that to dissolve your salt in before adding it after the rest period.
