Hi there, Mary! This article does include both volume and grams for most ingredients or amounts given, we haven't included it for dividing the cake batter because this is really best done by weight. If you don't have a scale on hand you can either do this by eye or the Tender White Cake recipe makes just about 7 cups of batter so you'd want to use roughly 3 1/2 cups of batter per pan.  We hope this can help!
