We're sorry to hear that you've had some trouble, Sherri! It's important to make sure there are no holes or gaps in your dam. You also want to make sure your filling is chilled so it doesn't melt your frosting which will allow for it to leak out. You can also pipe your frosting dam and then pop the cake in the fridge to chill for a bit to allow the frosting dam to firm up before adding your filling.
