I love to see all these positive, bright-faced, brave people putting themselves out there to continue to change the world by normalizing what was (not so long ago) unacceptable. Reading this made my eyes well up with gratitude and hope. I especially love that despite the cruel intentions of an obvious bigot, April's Detroit community rallied around her with love to drown out the hate. Thank you so much for this uplifting post!
