Hi Marco, I consulted with our Baking Ambassador, Martin Philip, on this one, and he says he has definitely seen bakeries use the lye solution multiple times and hold onto it for "quite a while." At some point the pH may change or the mixture may get murky, which would likely be a good time to dump the solution down the drain and start fresh. Also, storing it in a safe and well-marked container will be critical for safety reasons!
