I have a Kitchen Aid that never gets used. I used the handle of a wooden spoon until it broke and my sweety got me a Brodpisker the Danish dough whisk. I use all the time and I bake a lot of bread at least a dozen loaves a week. I supply the kids. As far as cleaning, I use a round brush you add the soap inside fore scrubbing dishes. Use cold water or it will set up the dough and make tougher to clean.
