Hi there, Camille! We haven't tested baking these in an oven, but you're welcome to experiment with it! There are also "DIY" options for fashioning a steamer from things you might already have though, a quick internet search for "how to steam buns without a steamer" turns up quite a few options. One that I've tried is using a vegetable steamer lined with cabbage leaves, and that worked quite well. We hope this can help!
