Thank you for your response. For the record, I am not at all uncomfortable with the ongoing dialog of addressing injustices. I am deeply and personally familiar with the issues of racial injustice due to my ethnic background. From the lens of my personal experience, I can say that authentic change is the result of giving others the space to form their own thoughts and opinions in their own time rather than beating them over the head with antagonist rhetoric. Please also do not dismiss or diminish the incredible progress that has been made over the last decade, progress that I never dreamed would ever occur. I am still so excited to see people of all sorts of ethnicities, sizes and genders featured so prominently in media! That was never the case when I was growing up. In the end, I do feel like I was beaten over the head with this blog post and if this is the direction that King Arthur wishes to take, well ok. I will take my reading time somewhere else.
