Hi Marjo, we’re sorry to hear that this doesn’t sit well with you. We can understand the point you’re making. Our team is creating space for messages about injustice and racism in a place where our content doesn’t usually capture disheartening realities. A core part of our vision as a company is to make space around our baking table for everyone to share in the joy of baking. But the fact is that people in our communities and country continue to be unjustly burdened because of qualities like their race, color, gender, and sexual orientation. As a company, we need to name the truths that promise a more equitable, healthy, and kind future for us all. That can mean not shying away from uncomfortable ideas and messages that highlight barriers on the road to that future. We’re grateful for the open hearts and ears that so many in our audience bring to the daily task of learning and growing, as we’re learning and growing.
