As an American of Mexican descent (the other half’s Italian) I am proud and pleased to see this article. Too often our culture and food is dismissed as a fast food taco or burrito. As a kid growing up in Los Angeles I loved going to Olvera Street early on holiday mornings for hot chocolate and a fresh Pan Dulce. These are tasty works of art.
