I was in 6th grade and babysitting my little sister when we decided to make cookies as a surprise for mom and dad. My sister read out the recipe and I measured things out. It wasn't until I started to measure out flour for the second time that realized something was up. I hadn't realized she was turning the page of the recipe book every time she read an ingredient!! We decided to add chocolate chips and bake them anyway. Worst cookies ever, there must have been three time the baking soda and salt and just about everything else including mustard powder....my dad ate them and said he loved them, what a sweetie he was. My mom just laughed and laughed and called my grandma and grandpa to come over for some cookies. Now I am a grandma I can laugh too. LOL!!!
