Love these -- makes us home bakers realize even the pros have, well, less than perfect results. I was so excited to make the raspberry lemon layer cake for a friend's birthday. Had all the ingredients. Made it, ate it, was good but a lot denser than I expected. Got home, wandering through my kitchen I stopped and wondered why there was all that butter out on the counter what was I going to make - OH NO, left it out of the cake!! My friends had a great laugh and the cake actually tasted good. Oh well, next time! Thanks, KA for your April Fool's photos.
