Thank you for these “holiday photos” from the KAB group—“I think I did a number of things wrong” is my favorite caption. My pandemic baking fails aren’t even close to my #1 oops. I took the fresh baked birthday cake out of the oven and put the dish on the stovetop. Sometime later...I turned on one of the burners. BLAMMO! The dish shattered, but the cake held the glass together instead of having dish shrapnel spray around the kitchen. I, too, think I did a number of things wrong....
