Hi Loretta! We reached out to Heifa for some answers for you, and she came up with some suggestions:
1. Mild curry powder is best as it isn’t overpowering in heat and allows for you to taste the flavors of the chicken and potato. Brand isn't as important, so whatever you are able to find will work. Curry can even be found in most chain supermarkets now as well!
2. Typically, a Middle Eastern market is excellent for this, so have a look and see if you can find any in your area. You'd be surprised what's out there.
3. For sure! There's lots of sources online for that, and they're all pretty great.
4. I personally have the luxury of having many Arabic stores around me so I don’t face this issue but, try hashems.com, ziyad.com, and kalustyans.com to find some goods online to order from!
We hope that helps a bit, Loretta. Thanks so much for reaching out. We're very excited for you to try out this recipe, and wish you all the best with it. And of course: happy baking!
