Hi there, Carol! No worries, it can be tricky to create straight lines all while trying to pipe a design, there's a lot to think about and coordinate! I like to use a paring knife or even a bench knife or bowl scraper to gently draw a straight line in the base layer of frosting like a guide to pipe over. We hope this can help!
