I have had some really great lefse over the years and have NEVER attempted to make it myself. That being said, my daughter sent me to your web site and the recipe looked very close to what my Mom (who died in 1997) and my Aunt gave me some years ago. So I shall make lefse very soon and report back with the results. My wife & I will be making a trip to the New England King Arthur Flour store very soon to check on a "lefse griddle" and get the right flour for this journey to which I'm embarking. As I was born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin this should have been something that was "in my blood" a long time. We'll see if I still have a knack cooking for this wonderful treat.
