Family recipes are the best. Our family recipe uses russet potatoes and no cream. At Christmas, we have a lefse baking party. We gather our lefse sticks and special rolling pins and get to work. Two stations - each with a rolling mat and griddle. So much fun and tasty fresh off the griddle. We do make a few 'ugly' ones to test the taste. Cinnamon and sugar are the usual, but I do like lefse rolled up with ham.
