Hi Ellen, thanks for sharing your message with us. You’ll be glad to know that the Hamantaschen version PJ made here comes to us from the well-known Jewish bakery, Zingerman’s, so you can be sure it’s not our own attempt to mimic a traditional and beloved Jewish treat. Our team is here to learn alongside customers, and we endeavor to present recipes from other sources with the respect and care they deserve; including how we research and discuss them. Sometimes we’ll make baking snafus of our own (it totally happens to us, as evidenced here!), and we hope our community takes value from those tough lessons when we share them.
