I also find these large spatulas useful for many tasks, but for moving my sourdough loaves into a Dutch oven, I find a large spatula with handle better as it is easier to control with better ergonomics. The KA type of giant spatula puts a lot of strain on the fingers and wrist. I have a large spatula with handle. I literally place on the banneton and flip to pop out the dough, then transfer easily into the Dutch oven. Over time I've collected numerous spatulas, bench knives and even dry wall knives, metal and plastic. All are used at times! Best and thanks, KA
