Hi Ben, we have lots of resources to help you get a sourdough starter going, including our Sourdough Baking Guide and our Sourdough Starter recipe. This blog post can also help guide you through the process. It generally takes about 10 days to 2 weeks to develop a fully mature sourdough starter. If all this seems like too much work to you, then you could also consider buying a mature starter from us. This starter only takes a few feedings to revive it from its travels, and then it's ready to use in your baking! Of course, you'll still need to feed your new starter regularly to keep it active and healthy, but we can help you with that as well: check out this recipe for feeding and maintaining your sourdough starter to see what's involved.
