Hey there, Ryan! An 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" pan will be a bit too small for this recipe. You could scale the recipe back so it'll fit in that size pan better, try making 2/3 of the recipe (just multiply each ingredient by .66). We hope this helps and happy baking!
