I am beginning to make your starter. It’s different than the one I’ve always used but I want to try a new one Just Because! Question: my rye flour must be ancient; it sucked up the 1/2 c water like it was nothing! I added more to make a thick oatmeal consistency paste. Did I do right or should I start over?
