I'm chuckling here. Why? Because 40 years ago, I added whole wheat flour to everything. My daughter still talks about when she was the only kid in school who had homemade whole wheat chocolate chip cookies when everyone else had "normal" ones. As a child, she never said anything or complained. My husband and I thought they tasted great (and, we didn't have White Whole Wheat Flour then either.) Natural sugar and 50% Whole Wheat Flour. In everything I baked. Ahhhh, those were the days.
