Almost lunar new year and I am perfecting chocolate chip cookies. Something my Cantonese grandma would have never baked in her lifetime. But I remember her make savory fried traditional pastries. Flour, water, salt, oil and preserved bean cheese. Butter was not a staple. And she used mini soup bowls to measure the ingredients. No measuring cups, no scales. :) thank you for this video.
