I'd like to understand more about the thought process and idea of a deep, dark burnished crust. I always feel like the almost black crust is burned. It's not something I care for particularly. I prefer lighter color and have been known to cut off the 'burned' bottom or top crust which I'm not crazy about because a 'crusty, but not burned, crust' is delicious
