What a beautiful story. I love to bake also and considered starting a cottage business after I retired in 2017. I soon realized after filling several orders that it was more than I wanted to take on at that stage of my life. I still bake for pleasure and occasionally for a few customers, and the pecan pie bars are my family and friends new favorite dessert. They are absolutely delicious!
