The greatest use of your blanched almond flour I have found is to make homemade almond paste with it. This goes into so many different recipes- especially during the holidays. That's a real time and money saver!
1 1/2 cups almond flour
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 tsp almond extract
1 large egg white
Put all ingredients into a food processor and pulse until ingredients form a cohesive ball. Remove from the food processor and knead briefly, then form into a log, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Makes about 12 to 14 ounces of almond paste.
