I baked this recipe and the Japanese milk bread loaf. Loved them both but have a couple questions.
Since this doesn’t have an egg would it work to make the milk bread dough and use it to form and bake cinnamon buns using these instructions?
Also, two tbsp of my dry milk powder are about 1/3 heavier by weight than your recipe shows. Should I go by measurement or weight in this case? I weigh all other ingredients.
Other milk bread recipes I’ve seen use softened rather than melted butter as does this cinnamon bun recipe. Is there any reason softened wouldn’t work in the milk bread recipe? Thanks, always trying to learn! 🤗
