Hi there, Rebecca! If you'd like to use a quick puff pastry you could make the puff dough and freeze it after all the folds have been done. We wouldn't recommend freezing the assembled tree though. Then let the dough defrost overnight in the fridge and the day of you can just roll out the dough, fill, and bake! We hope this helps!
