Thank you so much for this recipe! My daughter's birthday is the first of May, roughly the beginning of strawberry season in the mid-Atlantic. Since she loves strawberries I always made her a strawberry birthday cake. I never settled on a recipe that was a real keeper...some called for fresh strawberries, others for frozen fruit. Many started with a box mix but I wanted an entirely homemade cake. Although she's all grown up now and living out of state, I'm still looking for the keeper strawberry cake recipe. I'm excited to see yours and look forward to trying it.
