I have made rose-flavored marshmallows using rose flavoring from a middle-Eastern market, cut into hearts with a greased cookie cutter. Fun for Valentine's Day. The marshmallow scraps can be used up in making Crispy Treats. Also, dry flavored-"aide" packages can provide both flavors and colors to different varieties.
