Hi there! I made the pecan minis this AM and have a few questions/ issues:
1. In the pie dough section: dough is divided in to 40g portions, I believe that the liquid isn't accounted for?
2. If using 9T of cold water/vodka for 240G of pie crumbs, the dough is VERY sticky, and almost unmanagable.
3. Once I placed the dough in to the muffin pans and filled as directed, I baked for 35 minutes, let cool and tried removing the pies. Every single one had filling stuck to the bottom. What went wrong? Did I mis-read?
The filling tastes FANTASTIC and I love this concept and want to try again! I would encourage anyone who is curious about doing this to give it a go. It's kind of fun.
