I use my discard for English muffins and bagels. I was thinking about trying a scone recipe with it too but I haven't, yet. I really like the idea for using it in pie crust, it sounds really good. I bet it would be fantastic for a pot pie or a rich pie like minced meat. I have to make the Cranberry Cornmeal Sourdough loaf first, though! So many good things to bake! But there are two of us so it takes a while to eat all this wonderful stuff. Thankfully, we have plenty of freezer space.
