I have tried this dough twice with no luck on just getting the dough where it needs to be. When I use my kitchen aid mixer it almost seems like the dough is just going around the edge of the bowl, and then every few second it starts to stick out of the bowl (not even getting kneaded). The second time I tried by hand, and after 10 minutes it still seemed like it was just tearing a lot. I did another 5-10 minutes by hand, and eventually tried my mixer again with the same problems. Both times I tried to let the dough rest for over and hour and it doesn’t do anything, and I have not been getting any sort of window pane when kneading. I guess I am just confused, because it says this is an easy recipe even for beginners (which I’m not). What am I doing wrong?
