Hi PJ! Thank you so much for starting this blog! Like a lot of other bakers these days, I challenged myself to make a sourdough starter. It turned out surprisingly well & very quickly I had a bubbling goo that was ready to make bread. But then came all of the directions & instructions & So. Much. Discard. I'm much more of a casual baker & this blog (and recipe) gives me hope!
I do have one question. Could you flour the greased bowl to get that 'floury top' look to the bread? Perhaps using rice flour as mentioned in other comments?Or would that just make a greasy floury mess?
Thanks again for this great recipe & all of your amazing baking knowledge. You are definitely living the dream!
