I was so excited to see you mention Alton Brown's chocolate chip cookie recipe -The Chewy! This has been my go-to chocolate chip cookie recipe for well over 10 years (sorry KAB!). When I take it to parties, they disappear and people ask for the recipe. I'd never considered using bread flour for other cookie recipes before, but it makes sense. While I'm not giving up my go-to chocolate chip cookie recipe, you gave me an idea to try bread flour with peanut butter cookies. I will see if KAB has a recipe for those and maybe discover another favorite!
