You cannot eat bread that is packaged from supermarket or anymore. You can make bread - Tuscan bread see recipes and adapt to other types. there is a substitute for sodium, potassium I dd up to no more than believe, that you can use instead of making soda which works pretty well. I have made bread with yeast leaving out salt completely. t;'s kind of a messy process (sticky), but works reasonable well. The trick for me is to use good combinations of spices for taste. I am not giving up - i plsan to test yeast with potasdium salt and/or magnesium salt. The most difficult part of cooking for very low salt is the amount of cooking involved. Despite =the large number of people who die of heart problems, in spite of the knowledge that salt causes water retention, it is virtually impossible to find foods that add up to 1500m mg or less. BUT it is worth it. My husband's swelling decreased a lot. He no longer has to take diuretics that prevent a good nights sleep (a risk to heart disease patients and everyone for that matter. I wish there were some business 9like diet meals) that did the same for heart patients
