Just a note. One tsp of table salt is 6 grams, or 6,000 mg. The recommended daily max for people over 40, per the FDA, is 1500 mg, which is 1/4 tsp. I'm pretty sure these numbers are correct, because I actually weighed a teaspoon of table salt.
So, if you use 1 tsp of salt to make a loaf of bread, and the loaf yields only 10 slices, each slice is 600 mg which is a little over 1/3 of the recommended daily amount. It us very difficult to keep within the guidelines because salt is everywhere.
