Halfway through the pandemic I was diagnosed with a fairly progressive Parkinsons disease, lung cncer and COPD among other issues. I have until recently been able to bake and continue to do so, just can't do it daily anymore. Had to give up most of my other hobbies as well due to having lost my balance......but I do so enjoy baking and filling my freezer with cookies, breads, cakes etc. so that when someone does drop by to visit with me I have such wonderful things to share. I think baking gives me a huge assist with retention of my cognizant skills. I am 80 years old and thankful I can at least still bake and share!! Making some Cheese filled rolls as of this moment!!
