I have to say, companies are getting pretty afraid to be original any more.
The knight was great. Gave the advertising distinction. Made it stand out in a crowd. (of flours on the shelf)
Having been in advertising, (and had I been on your advertising board ) I would have said the knight was probably one way of
catching the eye of a non pro baker. Just like Gold Metal. It is distinctive and stands out.
Have to say... yours doesn't any more and having a great marketing catch is part of the game right?
I'll still buy the four, but, the package is kinda bland now. I agree, too bad the packaging lost its grab but thank goodness the flour is the same.
