The new logo is real dud. If your mission was to say creepy modern corporation, then congratulations; you succeeded. It's severe, cold, and unfriendly.

The question is why do it? There was nothing politically offensively about a time-honored and popular mythical character, and its use in the traditional form served the company well. Somebody at the employee-owned company who approved this should be let go by the other employees.
