Good question! We always try to make the recipe at least once the way it's written originally before making any changes. It gets tricky with online recipes that come from varied sources, you just can't be sure how well they were tested, but when you have trusted sites like ours, our friends over at Food52, Martha Stewart, America's Test Kitchen, etc. finding recipes for success is much easier. So, best not to swap your leavener right off the bat, but follow the recipe for best results.
