Hi Beverly, I'm sorry about the bad taste in your pound cake. Baker's chocolate can come in many different forms and most often is 100% unsweetened cacao which can be taste exceedingly bitter without the proper amount of sugar to balance it out. Additionally, if your recipe was calling for cocoa powder and you used baking chocolate, this could have a drastic effect on your recipe.
