Absolutely great article with wonderful suggestions. I just put the last slice of a moldy sandwich loaf into the compost today after it had resided in the refrigerator. Better to cut slices and freeze remainder. Never thought of cutting slices in the middle and putting ends back together. Keep these articles coming! We can all learn so much.
