Good question, Connie! King Arthur was never on our bags, just a knight. We updated it because the illustration-style logo that was common 100 years ago doesn't show up so well in situations where logos are used today, like icons on people's smartphones. Modern logos need to be more streamlined, and we thought that the wheat crown was a great way to represent King Arthur as a character and also our reality as a company committed to sharing the joy of baking as well as good agriculture. Happy baking!
