I have took flower and water and put it outside for a few hours covered with cheese cloth. There is wild yeast all around. I keep my starter on the hot tank. As I think about it I also put 3 or 4 breaths in the jug also. Two or three days I was happy to see the the starter come to life. I fed it sugar, and it was rising very well. After a week or so feeding and adding flower, I made bread with the sponge. The bread was a little strong and I gave that to the wild yeast.
