I was gifted a 60 year old starter a few months ago. I love this recipe, as I have terrible arthritis in my wrists. I bake it in a dutch oven, and it always comes out beautifully. I often share half a loaf with a neighbor, or I'll gift someone a whole loaf, just so I can keep baking!
