I crumple up two pieces of foil that will fit the bottom of the dutch oven. Once crumpled I completely flatten and place it inside. I also cut a circle of parchment to fit over the top. That and the sheet of parchment you use to place the shaped loaf inside will prevent any bottom burn. Also I preheat at 450.
