We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble, Elise! We'd recommend moving the Dutch oven up higher in the oven and placing the vessel on a baking sheet for the entire bake. You can also try insulating the bottom of the loaf a bit more by putting some foil in the bottom of the pot. We hope this can help!
